Towing and Roadside Help in Manteca, CA

Manteca is built around one of the busiest interchanges in the valley, where Highway 99 meets the Highway 120 Bypass. Commuters heading to Tracy and the Bay Area use it every day, and on weekends it fills with people bound for Yosemite. When something goes wrong there, it backs up fast.

We dispatch tow trucks and roadside help across Manteca, Lathrop and the farmland around them at any hour. Whether you are stuck on the Bypass, on Yosemite Avenue downtown, or in a parking lot near Bass Pro Shops and Great Wolf Lodge, call and you will hear the price and an ETA before a truck is sent.

The 99 and 120 interchange

The Bypass carries Highway 120 across the south side of town, and it meets 99 in a tangle of ramps that has been under construction and reconfiguration for years. Lanes shift and shoulders disappear in work zones. Breakdowns there are dangerous because traffic is moving fast right up until it stops. If you can coast to an off-ramp such as Main Street, Airport Way or Union Road, do it.

Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings are the worst times, when Yosemite and Sierra traffic adds to the commute. Overheating, flats and running out of gas in the backup are all common.

Growth on the edges

Manteca has grown quickly, and new subdivisions on the south and east sides sit next to almond orchards and dairy land. Construction traffic means nails and screws on new streets, and winter rain turns unpaved lots and orchard edges into mud. Older parts of town, around Yosemite Avenue and Main Street, have tighter streets and older carports, where long trucks have to be careful.

Lathrop, just to the west, adds River Islands and a large industrial area along I-5 and Louise Avenue. Truck traffic there is heavy, and so is debris on the shoulders.
